Cultivating a Gratitude Practice Even with Cancer

Learning to count your blessings, even when you're facing a hard situation, is incredibly helpful. Research shows us that people who live with gratitude, feel better and are more resilient. And, it's simple and free. All you have to do is write down 3 things you're grateful for... each day, preferably at the same time. What you will notice, overtime, is that you will begin to travel through your day subconsciously noticing the good all around you. You're training your mind to find the good... even when life feels hard.

WHAT ARE YOU GRATEFUL FOR TODAY?

I am grateful for how strong my body and mind is!

I received a gratitude journal for Christmas and have made a habit of writing in it every night since the New Year. The more I do it, I've found myself finding things I'm grateful for throughout the day - even if it's small, like I'm grateful to have the option between coffee and tea in the morning or I'm grateful for the breeze outside. A very beneficial practice to have!!

I LOVE everything about this. What you are sharing is VERY powerful because you are showing the long term benefit of having a gratitude practice. You have helped teach yourself how to find the good that's all around you. Noticing the small things as we travel through each day is the secret!
